Our “Kukang School” in Bandar Baru motivated our partner Basukum community represented by Tomas Tarigan to build their own “School at the End of the World” (Tampung Doni in Indonesian). We were happy to support this project in 2020 with the financial contribution of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Jakarta (the so-called Small-Scale Local Project of Development Aid). Thanks to this school, children from this village now get a chance to not only get environmental education but also learn English here.
