JOne of our main goals is to reduce the illegal wildlife trade. The seriousness of this problem is evident not only with slow lorises but even more so with pangolins. Pangolins are among the most smuggled mammals today - more than 100,000 of them are poached from the wild every year... Our team of investigators identifies and investigates selected cases of wildlife smuggling with an emphasis on small mammals, including the critically endangered Sunda pangolins. In cooperation with the local police, maritime police, and local government agencies for nature protection, we subsequently try to catch the traffickers of these animals red-handed and prosecute them. Everything takes place based on a standardized method and in cooperation with external professionals.
